Jing just joined our private equity team as Vice President and will be working closely with Jared and William. She graduated from Dartmouth College in 2013 and previously worked on the JFK Airport Redevelopment Project in New York. 
Patrick Manning
Patrick Manning

Managing Director
As Managing Director, Patrick Manning helps drive execution of Reef Private Equity’s real estate projects from acquisition and governmental entitlements through master planning, design, construction, and the marketing and sale of the developments. Patrick has been in the real estate development space for 30 years and has presided over the sale of more than $8B in real estate offerings. Managing various aspects of transactions in 17 states and 5 countries with a strong emphasis on high-end resort properties (golf, ski, beach, equestrian, etc.), Patrick has successfully navigated all components of new development as well as many workouts and turnarounds. Most recently Mr. Manning has focused on the southern Utah market on such projects as The Springs, The Sycamores, and Northbridge Estates. Completed developments in this area also include The Reserve, Kachina Springs (three phases), Kachina North, Kachina South, Shinava Ridge, The Inn at Entrada, Chaco West (three phases), and Paiute Springs (Entrada at Snow Canyon Country Club). Patrick has served multiple terms on the National Board of Trustees for the American Resort Developer’s Association and is currently serving as a member of the Southern Utah Board of Governors, the State Executive Board of World Trade Center Utah, and on the stakeholder board of the Housing Action Coalition formed to help solve the attainable housing crisis in the mountain west region.
Brett Boren

Executive Director
Brett Boren is the Executive Director of Reef Private Equity and also serves on Reef’s Board of Directors. Prior to serving as the Executive Director of Reef Private Equity, Mr. Boren served as the Managing Director of Reef Private Credit and was its head of risk analysis. There he was responsible for evaluating collateral value on each transaction and ensuring compliance with all risk guidelines set by Reef Private Credit’s loan committee. He worked closely with third party real estate professionals including appraisers, title companies, real estate agents, and law firms to properly structure and secure each loan. He also served as a key member of Reef Private Credit’s loan approval committee, focused on risk evaluation and mitigation. Mr. Boren is a co-founder of Reef Private Equity and has a wealth of commercial real estate knowledge and a process mindset gained from building and refining Reef’s underwriting systems. Prior to joining Reef he was a commercial account executive at GreenPoint Financial, where he worked with clients to structure commercial loans for submission into its underwriting process. He also worked for JP Morgan Chase as a data analyst and Fidelity Investments. Mr. Boren received his B.A. in Economics from Brigham Young University in 2005.
Jed Robinson

Project Manager
As a member of Reef’s Board of Directors and Director of Sourcing for Reef Private Credit, Jed Robinson is responsible for business development and transaction sourcing for the Company. Mr. Robinson was a co-founder of both Reef Private Credit and Reef Private Equity. In 2008, while working in the collateral disposition department for a national loan servicing company, Mr. Robinson took on the challenge of reforming and reorganizing the department during a time when the firm’s portfolio experienced severe distress due to the Great Recession’s widespread effects on real estate value and liquidity. In 2010, Mr. Robinson returned his focus to the front end of private lending transactions, working with borrowers to source, negotiate and structure new private loans. Mr. Robinson, as a co-founder of Reef Private Equity, initially assumed the burden of sourcing and negotiating its private equity real estate opportunities. Mr. Robinson began his career as a key sales manager for a team of loan originators of a multi-state mortgage brokerage. Mr. Robinson is also a licensed real estate agent. To date, Mr. Robinson has been involved in underwriting, structuring, or servicing over 300 private real estate financing transactions. Mr. Robinson holds a B.S. degree in Psychology from Brigham Young University.
Sean Tuite

Project Manager
Sean Tuite has close to forty years of experience working in various positions in the construction industry, starting on a clean-up crew in high school to recently completing the award-winning 95 State Building in Salt Lake City as Construction Director for City Creek Reserve. Sean is a graduate of California Polytechnic University and has focused his career on difficult, high-risk projects and creating the teams necessary to ensure success. Over the years, some of his more significant projects in the Utah market have been; Soldier Hollow and mountain venue development for the 2002 Olympic Games, Empire Pass and Tuhaye master planned developments in the Park City area, First Security Building seismic retrofit and adaptive reuse in downtown Salt Lake City, Tower 5/The Regent condominium tower, Block 75 parking structure, the international award-winning 111 Main office tower and 95 State at City Creek/Harmons to name a few.
Justin Belliveau

Director of Operations
As Director of Operations for Reef Private Equity, Justin Belliveau oversees the entitlement, design, construction, and stabilization of private equity real estate projects located throughout the United States. After graduating from Boston College in 1998, he began his career as an investment banking analyst with KPMG’s Boston office before relocating to Utah to pursue combined Juris Doctor/Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Utah. Mr. Belliveau returned to Massachusetts to work as Director of Development for Windover Development, where he performed a broad range of activities, including site acquisition, permitting, design, financing construction, sales, and asset management related to transit-oriented, age-restricted, and resort housing communities. Returning to Utah in 2010 he served as Chief Administrative Officer of the Redevelopment Agency of Salt Lake City, Utah’s largest redevelopment agency. At the RDA he initiating redevelopment strategies for urban renewal project areas, leading the project team on both the George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Theater and Regent Street projects that revitalized a major block in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City. He also established a public-private partnership with the developer of 111 Main office tower, developing and implementing a plan of finance that included tax increment and sales tax revenue bonds totaling $116 million and a $37 million private fundraising campaign. He has served as a member of the Eccles Theater board of directors since its inception, including terms as Chair and Vice Chair.
